Big Bin Day 2026 was a success! The usual group of volunteers, plus some new faces who showed up to help, worked like a well oiled machine. The 3 Big Bins were full by about 10:45 am.
Thanks to those volunteers and to the HWCA members who participated. And thanks to the weather gods who supplied a perfect day.

Get your contributions ready! Your volunteer friends and neighbours are ready to serve.
To make it easier for our Greeters (Linda and Sue), please write your last name on a piece of 8.5 X 11 paper. Show that to them at the entrance so they can confirm your attendance. Your Board uses this information to decide if the event is worth doing every year.
Time: 8:30 to Noon (If the bins are full before Noon, the event will end early.)
Items that cannot be accepted are:
Major Appliances (stoves, fridges, freezers)
Paint, Solvents (Take to the Watford dump for toxic waste recycling)
Yard Waste (Take to Forest)
Electronics and Batteries (Take to municipal office in Northville)
This year old Propane Tanks are acceptable as long as the tank is empty and the valve is open.
Rain or shine, see you Saturday.

What a wonderful turnout for our Annual Golf Tournament! The weather cooperated beautifully, making for a perfect day on the course, and the dinner that followed was excellent and enjoyed by all. A heartfelt thank you goes out to Chris and Vicki Holmes, Sue and Blaine Kueneman, and Mary and Jim White for their hard work, dedication, and organization in making this year’s tournament such a tremendous success. Your efforts are greatly appreciated and helped create a memorable day for everyone involved.
