Cleaning Products Free from Global Literacy Project!

Thank you ro Jacqui Krech for forwarding this information:

Portion of the letter from Brian Hall, Rotary Club of Grand Bend.

In February the Rotary Club of Grand Bend received a call from our local school board asking for help to distribute surplus cleaning products purchased at the start of the pandemic and now nearing their expiry date. We have reached out to area non-profits (over 60) and many have gratefully helped clear the many cases of hand sanitizer, liquid soap and surface disinfectant available. But WE STILL HAVE LOTS MORE!!

We would like your help to distribute the hundreds of cases of perfectly usable cleaners before they reach their expiry dates later this year and have to be destroyed as hazardous waste!

We have 1 L bottles of hand sanitizer (4/case & 12/case)1L bottles of liquid hand soap (4/case)1 L bottles of Surface disinfectant (12/case) Please come to Grand Bend and take what you can use for yourself, your family and any organization you know or belong to who can use this material! We have LOTS so come for a carload and spread it around. It is stored in the garage of Paul Turnbull 34451 Dashwood Road (just east of the junction of Hwy 21 and CR 83,  3 km north of Grand Bend.)

Paul will be happy to help load if he is home otherwise help yourself! Garage door is open. We hope you will help us distribute this valuable bounty and share with your organizations, friends and families the sooner the better. If you know someone who can use a large quantity, please contact Brian Hall, Chair of the Global Literacy Committee, Rotary Club of Grand Bend directly to make arrangements for pickup.
