Are you in the process of downsizing, moving or just want to clear out some of your inventory?
Huron Woods resident, Angela Arenberg is reaching out to the community on behalf of a Syrian family living in Zurich.
This family is comprised of 3 adults and 3 children who have up to now been living with another Syrian family in Zurich. They have secured their own housing for THIS weekend and are in need of items for their new home. They have received many required items but the following remain on the list:
- Single or double bed
- 9×13 baking sheets
- Plastic bowls
- Measuring spoons
- Can opener
- Dishes
- Plastic glasses
- Plastic containers for lunches (Glad, Tupperware etc.)
- Sheets for single bed
- Toys for 2 year old boy
- Toys for 4 year old girl
- Toys for 6 year old girl
Priority items:
- Small table for kitchenette with 2 chairs
- Pots
- Coffee pot
- Tea pot
- Kettle
- Iron
- Ironing board
- Vacuum
Items can be delivered to: 9885 Leonard Street. (That’s on the east side of Hwy 21, almost directly east of Huron Woods)
FYI:
There will be a large item pickup this Saturday (January 27) The backup date, in case of bad weather, is Sunday. (January 28).
