TGFOF (The Sequel)

From Judy Steeper:

Old Farts New Years Party

The New Year’s Eve Hangover Party, presented by the “Old Farts,” was a roaring success and packed with good cheer. What started as a casual community get-together quickly turned into a lively evening of laughter, great company, and a spirited trivia showdown. The organizers knocked it out of the park, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere where fun clearly ruled the night. Add in delicious pies (thank you, Jill!), plenty of laughs, a bit of friendly competition, and lots of good cheer, and you have the recipe for a truly memorable evening — proof once again that fun doesn’t fade with age… it just gets better!
🎉Happy New Year! 🎉

Winter Safety Notice: Icy Conditions at the Clubhouse

To HWCA members using the clubhouse during the winter—especially those attending tomorrow’s TGIF event:

Due to significant snowfall this winter (currently being removed under contract), combined with fluctuating temperatures and recent rain, icy conditions have developed in the parking lot and may continue.

Please exercise extreme caution when walking through the lot.

We have been applying bagged salt as conditions require; however, this approach makes it difficult to fully treat the entire parking area at all times. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to manage these winter conditions.

Thank you, and please stay safe.

Sincerely,

HWCA Board

Lost dog?

From the Downings on Pinetree Drive:

We’ve had a Shepard-type dog visit our house in the evenings on and off for the last two weeks.  It seems very nervous with people, but not aggressive with our dogs.  It does have a collar, but won’t allow us near it.  Just wondering if anyone knows this dog.  We’re hoping it’s not lost/missing, but would love to find it’s people if it is.

Unfortunately we couldn’t get a clearer photo

Note: This isn’t the first time this dog has been spotted in Huron Woods.
