After an initial consultation phase regarding short-term rentals, the Municipality is now seeking additional feedback from the public regarding a proposed Short-Term Rental Licensing Program.
The proposed licensing program was developed using extensive feedback and input from a range of stakeholders, including short-term rental operators, local business owners, motel operators, and the general public. The purpose of this final consultation phase is to present a draft program proposal and request feedback from the public. This feedback will be considered as staff draft a licensing by-law for Council approval.

I do not believe that having short term rentals in Lambton shores is an issue. Homeowners should face the right to do what this wish with their own properties.
They should abide by the local laws and by-laws. If not then they should be dealt with individually. This should not be a paint the brush to all when there are only a few bad apples. Deal with them individually.
