Many of you would have seen our team walking the 5k route on Thursday afternoon and we want to thank those of you in Huron Woods who supported us. Our team has raised $10,865 which represents over 25% of all funds raised so far in the Exeter area. We are in the top 100 of the 6385 teams across Canada and so far over $12 million has been raised! The funds our team raised will stay in the area to support local initiatives. Donations can still be made till the end of March.

Hi all! We’ll be building at the corner of The Trail and Pinetree Drive this year and are going to need a place to live while doing so. We’re looking for a 2+ bedroom rental for the next 6 – 12 months starting around April 1 (flexible). Unfurnished would be great, but we can also just store our things. We also have a well behaved cat (who is good about only clawing his mat, not your/our stuff). If you have a place you could rent out, please let us know:

And for the building-curious: We’re working with Blackbaer Sustainability to make a high efficiency, solar-powered, multi-generational, single-story home. The house won’t likely be a full “net-zero” home but we’re going to try to get close! This will be our second ‘eco-build’ so if there are any building-science nerds in the community who also love this stuff feel free to drop us a note (or drop by our little corner of paradise when you see us there)!
