Shine a light for all they do!

In Ontario, May 1 — known as Doctors’ Day across Canada — has now been declared Shine A Light For All They Do Day, when Ontarians can show their appreciation for doctors on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic, and all doctors who work to keep their patients healthy, by simply turning on their phone flashlights and holding them high this evening at 9 p.m.

The province-wide show of appreciation is being organized by the Ontario Medical Association (OMA) as a way for everyone to recognize doctors for their bravery and dedication.

So for all of you who are still awake at 9:00 tonight, step out your front door and shine a light for all they do!

  1. Thanks for posting this, Angela. I will be in my driveway at 9 with at least 2 lights. Let’s really light up Huron Woods! Joe Mayo
