Accessibility Committee Members 
The Municipality of Lambton Shores is accepting applications from persons interested in serving on the Accessibility Committee.   
Applications are to be submitted by 4:00 p.m. on December 22nd, 2017.
Application forms are available on line at www.lambtonshores.ca/committees/ or at the 3 Municipal Offices.
MUNICIPAL OFFICE HOLIDAY HOURS 
All Municipal Administration Offices will be closed for the holiday season on Friday, December 22, 2017 at 4:30 p.m. and re-opening Tuesday, Jan. 2nd, 2018 at 8:30 a.m. 
CHRISTMAS TREE RECYCLING
The Municipality of Lambton Shores will once again provide Christmas tree drop-off depots up until January 10th, 2018.  Depots are located at the following Community Services Yards: 9575 Port Franks Road, Northville and 6276 Townsend Line, Forest (old arena).
BY-LAW ENFORCEMENT
Winter Snow Clearance & Removal

With winter coming, please remove all sporting apparatus particularly basketball nets from municipal streets and road allowances to ensure safe operations during snow removal.  In addition please remember that the parking of vehicles on Municipal roads is prohibited between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. and tickets will be issued to offenders. 
Our Community Services Department snowplow operators appreciate your cooperation.

Council Budget Meeting – Tuesday, Jan. 16th and Wednesday, Jan. 17th, 2018
The 2018 Council meeting dates can be viewed on the meeting calendar 
on the Municipal website.  PLEASE NOTE… the first regular Council meeting will be held 
January 23, 2018 at the Legacy Centre, Thedford.
  
COMMUNITY SERVICES
HOLIDAY SCHEDULE for GARBAGE & RECYCLING PICKUP
There will not be garbage or recycling pick up on Monday, December 25th or Monday, January 1st. However, a special collection for those normally collected on Mondays will take place on Saturday, December 30, 2017.
If your normal collection day is Monday, please ensure that your material is set out by 7:00 a.m. December 30, 2017 as the driver may be there earlier than usual.  Regular collection will commence again January 2, 2018.
