From the time I was diagnosed with breast cancer in June 2013 until my last radiation treatment on November 20th, life has presented a few challenges. With your help, I have met and overcome all the obstacles and I am now ready to go forward in hope and faith. It is difficult to find the right words to let you know how much I appreciate all you have done to help me through the challenging times. The many acts of kindness, the cards and notes, your prayers, the Sunshine Basket, the meals that appeared and the garden elves who tidied my property were amazing gifts. A very special thank-you to the many people who volunteered to drive me to and from my appointments at the London Regional Cancer Centre and to Barb Weido who took upon herself the organization of this endeavour. You made the journeys pleasant despite the reason for those daily trips to London. My sincere thanks to everyone. Huron Woods is a special place because of the caring people who live here.
