The ABCA (Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority) will be conducting a fish study this summer specifically looking at the effects of water quality and vegetation on certain species at risk fish in the OAC. HWCA has partnered with this group in the past.
They will be accessing the OAC (Old Ausable Channel) from the clubhouse dock for the fish and vegetation surveys. This would be one day in July or August (we’re still determining exact dates)
Hope Brock of the ABCA will advise which date they will be doing the studies. I will post the information on the Blog as soon as it is available.
